We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Roading Planner Supervisor (note this role is known internally as a Roading Planner) to join our diverse and dynamic Softwoods team in Bathurst.

About the role
The Roading Planning Supervisor supports operational performance by ensuring the cost‐effective, safe and timely planning and implementation of road infrastructure works to a standard that meets operational, community access and recreational requirements. The position supports procurement activities, contractor engagement and management.
We would love you to have
- Knowledge and/or understanding of the management of operations, preferentially in roading
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of technologies and systems relevant to operations planning, including some experience with GIS
- Demonstrated skills and experience in writing work operations plans
- A preference for forestry management and protection experience, which may include road building or design, harvesting or silvicultural activities, weed and pest control, fire management, planning and suppression
- Proven organisational skills – being a self‐starter with the ability to plan and prioritise work, meet standards and deadlines
- Experienced in monitoring contractor performance to ensure compliance
- Capacity and willingness to undertake fire and fuel management duties, fire fighting and extensive travel
