We're looking for experienced and compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our team across multiple SIL homes in Wollongong. Role : Support Worker - Wollongong (casual position with adaptable shifts). You'll be working in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings, providing tailored support to participants with diverse needs.
Responsibilities
Support participants in daily living activities
Promote independence and community engagement
Deliver care aligned with individual support plans
Ensure a safe, respectful, and empowering workplace
Collaborate with staff and team leaders to deliver exceptional care
Commit to PM and Sleepover shifts on a rotating roster
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience with complex and aggressive behaviours (highly desirable)
Experience with brain injury and schizophrenia support (highly desirable)
Medication administration
Accurate documentation (shift notes, incident reports)
Time management and adaptability across varied environments
Fluent English – both verbal and written (non-negotiable)

NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Police Check
NDIS Orientation Modules
First Aid & CPR Certificate
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
Infection Control Training Certificate
Current Driver's License & reliable vehicle
Right to work in Australia
