The Role
Reporting to the CEO as a member of the Leadership Team, the Service Operations Manager will have full operational oversight of Participant Services (Disability and Mental Health, Domestic and Family Violence, Community Housing, Family and Youth Support, Support Coordination, Business Services and Community Development). You will:
* Build and lead a high-performing operations leadership team across our service streams.
* Monitor operational performance, client outcomes, compliance and risk.
* Implement and oversee operational frameworks, data management and develop business cases or feasibility projects aligned with our strategic priorities.
* Drive continuous improvement, system upgrades and innovation in service delivery.
* Collaborate with People and Culture to ensure workforce capability, retention strategies and cultural excellence.
* Represent Prospect Community Services in stakeholder forums, partnerships and regional networks to strengthen our brand.
About You
What we'll need to help kick-start your journey with us:
* Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Human Services, Community Development, Business, Commerce, or related discipline (e.g. finance, human resource management, organisational development).
* Demonstrated experience (minimum three 3 years) in senior management and leadership roles within multifaceted community services organisations.
* Track record in delivering operational transformation, business cases and service enhancement.
* Hands-on operator with a strong work ethic and acute applied understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks, standards, and rules governing community services delivery.
* Capable business analyst with the ability to design and lead operational improvement and change.
* Strategic relationship and network builder and manager.
* Exceptional communicator (written and verbal) across contexts and stakeholders.
* Strong business acumen with capability in data‑driven decision making, risk management, managing finances and continuous improvement.
