Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Club Managers to join a small club in a remote community in the NT. This hands-on position will see you provide friendly, safe, legal, and responsible management of a licensed club that adheres to the ALPA management contract and the requirements of the Directors of the Club. This position is based in Kalkarindji.

Responsibilities

- Operate the Club according to the management contract, license, legislation and local requirements of the Directors.
- Roster, supervise, train, manage and develop employees who are employed by the Club.
- Prepare for operational financial requirements and complete financial reports daily.
- Prepare for daily stock consumption and complete stocktakes and orders.
- Supervise bar operations in accordance with licensing, health and hygiene requirements.
- Supervise catering operations in accordance with health and hygiene requirements.
- Be a champion of ethical behaviour, the responsible service of alcohol and demonstrate a commitment to work health and safety.

Skills and Experience / Qualifications

- Club, Bar and or Hotel Food and Beverage supervisor level experience.
- A thorough understanding of the requirements of this position under the Liquor Act 2019 NT or ability to obtain this is in a short period of time.
- A current RSA Certificate that is less than three years old.
- A protected food handling certificate or ability to obtain.
- Experience using electronic systems for cash handling, financial reporting and stock control.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities and ethnic origin.
- The capacity to link daily activities to the ALPA values and mission.
- Driver's Licence.
