We are currently seeking to employ factory labourers and packers to fill roles with an Australian owned manufacturing company, in a clean safe modern facility at Loganlea. This company is a leader in the extrusion industry this position will start as casual labour hire but is a great opportunity to gain a full-time position.
This role may involve some machine operation and some packing. It is not overly heavy or fast paced but you are on your feet for long periods, and you need to be able to complete manual tasks. It also includes keeping work areas clean and tidy and ensuring adherence to all safe work procedures.

- This role will start as temporary labour hire (but permanent opportunities exist for good reliable workers).
- We roster both day (5:00am - 5:00pm) and night (5:00pm - 5:00am) shifts Monday to Friday (Roster is rotational - one week of day and one week of night). Some flexibility is required to cover shifts, if necessary,
- Factory Labourer/Punch Operator - Casual hourly rate on day shift is $31.19 and night shift is $35.87 PLUS OVERTIME.
- Packer - Casual hourly rate on day shift is $30.13 and night shift is $34.65 PLUS OVERTIME.
To be considered for this work, you will need:
- Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance
- Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Current valid Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
- Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks in this environment (training in safe work procedures will be provided)
- Have full PPE gear including steel cap boots, long pants yellow hi-vis long sleeved shirts
- Availability to commence asap at Loganlea
