Position Overview
* Employment Type: Full-time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO - Parental Leave Cover Commencing 18 May 2026 until 17 May 2027.
Part time applicants will be considered please state your preferred hours within your application.
* Location: Requirement to work across all SWH campuses and in community programs.
* Classification: Occupational Therapist Grade 1 or 2.
* Salary Range:
Grade 1: $70,590.50 - $85,872.80 per annum, (pro rata) plus superannuation.
Grade 2: $90,235.60 – $103,724.40 per annum, (pro rata) plus superannuation.

As an Occupational Therapist (Grade 1 or 2), you will deliver high quality, person centred care across a broad and rewarding caseload. Working across both hospital and community settings, you will support people of all ages to live more independent and meaningful lives, with no two days the same.
You will be part of a well-connected, multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Nursing, and Medical services, all working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our community.
You will be supported by experienced clinicians and leaders, while also having the autonomy to build your confidence and clinical capability. We encourage you to bring your ideas, energy, and passion to the role.
What you will be doing
* Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
* Working closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care.
* Building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
* Continuing to grow your clinical skills through supervision and professional development.
