We are seeking a highly skilled Acoustic Engineer to join our team in Eastern Australia. As an Associate Acoustics Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering noise and vibration assessments and inputs for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive acoustic assessments using industry-standard tools and techniques.
* Provide expert advice on noise and vibration control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive, plan, and deliver integrated projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field such as Physics or Environmental Engineering.
* 8+ years of applicable experience in environmental acoustics-related projects.
* Strong understanding of acoustic first principles and technical acumen in areas including noise and vibration modeling and prediction, evaluation of results, control of impacts, and monitoring.
* Excellent communication skills, including report writing and oral communication.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
