Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Demi Chef to join our culinary team at Coco's Kitchen + Bar. The ideal candidate will have a creative flair, a strong passion for baking, relevant experience, and a solid understanding of food safety practices. If you're a team player with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
* Design seasonal and innovative dessert menus.
* Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
* Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to food safety standards.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are passionate and committed to making a meaningful impact within our team. If you're driven to elevate the guest experience and contribute to the success of a premier 5-star hotel, we want to hear from you.

* Trade qualifications and previous experience in the hotel industry preferred.
* Extensive pastry experience.
* Strong knowledge of food safety requirements.
* Service-oriented with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to change.
* Ability to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
