We are seeking a senior project engineer to oversee water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Brisbane. This role requires technical guidance, design, procurement, contract administration, and claims processes.
This is a full-time permanent position at a leading utilities business. You will be responsible for providing technical advice, input to project controls reporting, and assisting with the design process.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience in project delivery within the water & or wastewater industry in SEQ, with experience managing subcontractors, developing scope of works/subcontract agreements, financial management and reporting, schedule development, and driving quality outcomes.
* Provide technical advice to the project delivery and wider program teams
* Assist in the identification of potential hazardous site activities and ensure appropriate procedures and control are implemented
* Deliver projects as per the project management plans, drawings and specifications
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Guidance: Provide expert advice on technical matters related to water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
* Design and Procurement: Assist in the design and procurement process, ensuring compliance with project management plans and specifications.
* Contract Administration: Administer contracts with subcontractors, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes.
* Project Controls: Provide input to project controls reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
