Human Resources Business Partner (Learning & Development Lead)
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Human Resources Business Partner who can also lead our Learning & Development function. You'll work closely with leaders across the business to provide strategic and operational HR support across the workforce. In addition, you will drive the Learning & Development portfolio—designing, delivering, and embedding programs that build technical, leadership, and compliance capability across the organisation.
About the Role
Partner with leaders to deliver high‐quality HR advice aligned with business objectives
Support organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives
Manage employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and Defence‐industry requirements (DISP, security, export controls)
Lead the design and delivery of L&D programs, including technical training, leadership development, and compliance training
Oversee the Learning Management System and maintain accurate training records
Contribute to culture, engagement, and organisational development projects
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you bring:
Experience and a strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation
Demonstrated knowledge, designing and delivering L&D programs
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
High integrity, discretion, and an understanding of working in a secure environment
Eligibility to obtain (or current possession of) a Defence security clearance
