Associate Solutions Architect
Full‑time. Location: Sydney, Melbourne. Operate primarily in a remote capacity but may function as an onsite resource.
What You’ll Do
- Directly interface with customers to listen, gather and confirm customer requirements for contracted services.
- Work closely with Solutions Architects, Senior Solutions Architects and customers to accomplish assigned project needs.
- Interact with internal teams from Client Services, Sales, Product Development and Customer Success.
- Play a vital part in ensuring successful delivery of the assigned project and occasionally act as a project manager when an Onboarding PM is not assigned.
- Potentially lead projects to meet business needs and demands.
- Support delivery of contracted services to customers.
- Review discovery sessions to ensure understanding of business needs and clarify uncertainties.
- Replicate standardized solution design that achieves outcomes within the Workiva Platform.
- Interact with valued customers, contributing to standardized solution delivery.
- Develop knowledge of financial, risk or operational reporting using the Workiva platform.
- Embrace a dynamic balance of collaborative work under guidance while seizing independent opportunities as needed.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent education/experience; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in service delivery, finance, accounting, audit or a related field.
- Experience in consulting and project management roles with a focus on process improvement.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of enterprise risk, financial planning or analytics & reporting solutions and their related technology platforms.
- Fluent in general technology and software within the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications.
- Familiarity with complex spreadsheet formulas or SQL.
- Ability to present topics clearly and succinctly.
- Self‑motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work under the direction of others, receive mentoring and collaborate with peers.
- Travel Requirements and Working Conditions
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for team and corporate meetings.
- Reliable internet access for remote work.
