Job Description
At our Huntley facility, we're the North American leader in designing, manufacturing, and upfitting multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks. As an Installation Lead, you'll play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate product installation and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead full-time night shift operations, coordinating with teams to meet production targets.
* Develop and implement process improvements, focusing on efficiency, quality, and employee development.
* Train and direct work groups, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
* Identify and address safety concerns, enforcing PPE usage and promoting a safe working environment.
* Drive Lean initiatives, analyze inventory reporting, and maintain proper part availability.
Requirements
* Proven mechanical skills and hands-on experience with assigned work area processes.
* Willingness to participate in required training and develop expertise in areas like blueprint reading and shop order processes.
* Ability to read blueprints, interpret hydraulics and electronics, and understand shop mathematics.
* Familiarity with weld inspection, steel types, gauges, and team collaboration.
* High-energy team player with excellent communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work extended hours.
