Aircraft Maintenance Engineers play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations. As a highly skilled professional, you will be responsible for dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing, and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems.
Key responsibilities include conducting routine pre-flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment, maintaining thorough records of actions taken, assembling components, parts, and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience on C-27J technical experience is highly desirable (Type course preferred).
* Cert IV in Aviation (Mechanical or Structures) qualification is essential.
* You must be highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair, and installation of mechanical components.
* A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to follow supervisory direction and consistently demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude.
* Passionate about safe work practices.
* Australian Resident with a Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain) and a Current Australian Driver's license.
