Wood is seeking expressions of interest for Electrical and/or Instrumentation and Controls Designers of all levels and experience to join our operations team based in Gladstone.
Responsibilities
Executes discipline input to engineering projects
Organises, executes, and coordinates assignments within agreed budget and schedule
Ensures safe project execution and adherence to Safety in Design requirements
Applicable role accountabilities to level of experience
Contributes to innovative solutions to meet project objectives
Ensures technically sound, fit-for-purpose solutions are developed and documented
Supports and facilitates timely transfer of information to other disciplines and functions
Manages Change processes effectively
Works within the provisions and guidelines of Wood's Quality Assurance systems
Qualifications
What makes you remarkable?
Associate or Advanced Diploma or equivalent in 3D/2D design/drafting
Design drafting experience, with proven experience, predominantly in the Oil & Gas or Mining/Mineral sectors
Experience may include conceptual, FEED, detailed design, and site construction
Experience in design, operation, construction/commissioning, and general engineering of oil and gas, metals/mining plant facilities
Effective communication and interfacing skills with other disciplines, project managers, and clients' representatives
Proven understanding and application of applicable Australian and International Codes & Standards
Experience with E3D (PDMS) software; other 3D software includes Smartplant, Microstation
Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
Experience with SPI or Aveva
Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
