Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payments Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in banking payments and a strong understanding of payment systems, standards, and methodologies. You will play a key role in gathering and analyzing requirements, interacting with clients, and supporting the development and testing teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Mandatory Skills:
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Payments domain.
• Strong knowledge of ISO XML20022 and SWIFT messaging standards.
• Hands-on experience with RTGS, ACH, SWIFT, and domestic payment systems.
• Familiarity with banking operations, clearing systems, and fund transfer mechanisms.
• Proficiency in requirement documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies with practical exposure to Agile practices.
• Ability to design and manage product strategy and roadmaps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct requirement analysis and engage in client interactions to gather business needs.
• Prepare and maintain BRD (Business Requirement Document), FRD (Functional Requirement Document), and SRS (Software Requirement Specification).
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure test cases are mapped to requirements and support UAT activities.
• Provide expertise in ISO XML20022 messaging standards and ensure compliance across payment systems.
• Work on various payment domains including Cross-border payments, RTGS/ACH, SWIFT payments, and Domestic payments.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of banking payments, fund transfers, clearing systems, and clearing houses.
• Participate in and support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Contribute to product strategy, product management, and roadmap design.
• Apply understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall models.
• Provide insights into retail and corporate banking products, day-to-day banking transactions, and payment operations.
Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
