As a Sales Travel Consultant in our Round the World air team, you will become an airfare guru! You will help to plan, book and coordinate your customer’s next amazing travel experience, all built around high-value, complex travel itineraries. You will learn the ins and outs of all things airfares while delivering excellent service, and irresistible deals for every traveller. You will be working towards KPI’s and incentive targets, therefore building your customer relationships will be critical to your success in this role.
You will be:
1. Using your travel experience to sell the products and destinations you love
2. Creating unbeatable airfares that visit multiple continents in the one trip
3. Delivering exceptional service in order to sell flights, accommodation, cruises, tours and related travel over the phone and via email
4. Preparing and issuing invoices, receipt payments and maintain financial documents
5. Keeping a finger on the pulse of the latest travel regulations and government restrictions
6. Working towards nationally recognised qualifications (Cert 3 & 4 in Travel)
All about you:
7. Experience working towards and achieving sales targets and KPI's
8. Have a passion for customer service and travel
9. Comprehensive computer skills and the ability to confidently learn new computer systems
10. You are comfortable with complexity
11. You're ambitious, highly motivated and an efficient organiser
12. You have exceptional attention to detail and love problem solving
13. GDS experience desired but not essential
