We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our high-performing team. As a pivotal member, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns, supporting clients with complex tax matters, and guiding junior team members through their development.
The role involves collaborating with the client manager to manage a portfolio across a diverse range of industries, applying technical knowledge to prepare complex special purpose reports, financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trusts. You will also develop and manage client budgets and forecasts, assist with consulting work, including the provision of tailored tax advice, and review and provide quality feedback on junior team members' work.
Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent degree, completed CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification, minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, ideally within public practice, and experience working with medium to large businesses and multi-entity structures. Strong written and verbal communication skills, motivation to grow professionally and contribute to team development, genuine interest in mentoring and upskilling junior team members, and ability to develop trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues are essential.
