Overview
BlendED by Saints College is seeking an experienced Youth Worker to join their school community. The role is based in Echuca and involves working from home and the central office with travel between sites and within the community. This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing April 2026 and governed by the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. Classification: Category A ESS, Level 3. Salary range: $82,148 to $93,079 (depending on education and experience).
About the program
BlendED is an inclusive Victorian-first education model combining online individualised learning with in-person wellbeing support for young people who are disengaged from traditional education. Young people engage in 20 hours of online classes weekly, with group sessions and one-on-one teacher time, plus regular fortnightly social activities. Wellbeing workers provide weekly support, including counselling and assistance with basic needs, to help students navigate challenges and achieve their educational goals.
You will need
Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles: Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal, and Honesty
Tertiary qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology and Behavioural Science and/or equivalent experience
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check (issued within the last six months)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of people
Demonstrated commitment to contributing to a positive team workplace
Ability to inspire and engage young people
Willingness to support young people and team members to reach their potential
