The Opportunity
Ashurst Advance Digital (AAD) is the firm's technology and experience powerhouse. We work with our NewLaw business to develop differentiated services for our clients, whilst embedding digital as a competency for the whole firm through developing and enabling future-fit tools, capabilities and mindsets.
Our Digital Services team designs, develops and delivers integrated solutions that combine our legal expertise with best-in-class legal technology and user design principles to enhance the delivery of our legal services for clients.
We are seeking motivated professionals with excellent problem-solving skills, who work independently, and are curious and detail-oriented to join our award-winning team as a Senior Analyst/Specialist in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. In this role you will be responsible for implementing and supporting technology-based services and solutions for our internal and external clients.
On a day-to-day basis you could be:
* using automation, AI and data analytics to improve the accuracy and speed at which we can deliver services and transform advice.
* creating fit-for-purpose digital solutions to help drive efficiencies and productivity at a matter, project and team level.
* developing collaborative, cloud-based workspaces for legal and client teams to work and communicate together more efficiently.
* maximising opportunities for commercialising digital transformation.
Whilst the role is ideally full-time, we are open to part-time candidates depending on their skills and experience.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
* Good technical skills with experience in designing and implementing technology-enabled solutions for client processes and providing high quality support in relation to such solutions. Able to self-manage workload, prioritise and deliver work to deadlines.
* Technical experience using low-code software to develop business solutions and automate processes. Some training and/or experience using Microsoft SharePoint and PowerPlatform (including PowerBI, PowerAutomate and PowerApps) or similar software.
* Experience with legal technology platforms is desirable, such as HighQ Collaborate, Contract Express, Kira, Intralinks, Avvoka, Ansarada, Atticus, Harvey, RelativityOne and ContractPodAI.
* Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally, demonstrating ability to adapt to different styles and behaviours. Works collaboratively across a global team. Can clearly understand instructions and is not afraid to ask for clarity or challenge instructions where appropriate.
* Meticulous attention to detail, consistently working at a very high standard without supervision. A problem-solver by nature. Shows resilience and ability to develop from constructive feedback.
* Good understanding of and interest in evolving areas of legal technology such as automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics is desirable.
* Prior experience or exposure to legal or other professional services delivery is preferred. Experience in business analysis (BA) and/or project management methodologies is advantageous.
