Responsibilities
Reporting into site and functional leadership, you will:
* Lead the Health, Safety & Environment strategy for the Parkhurst facility
* Embed a visible, values-driven safety culture aligned to Komatsu's Zero Harm commitment
* Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance across EHS and environmental obligations
* Partner with leaders to build accountability, capability, and ownership at all levels
* Drive continuous improvement through risk management, incident prevention, and data insights
* Influence strategic outcomes that impact site performance and organisational integrity
Qualifications
You are an experienced EHS leader who brings both technical expertise and the ability to influence culture. You understand that safety leadership is about presence, trust, and consistency—not just systems.
* Proven experience in a manufacturing, mining, or heavy industry environment
* Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and environmental compliance requirements
* Demonstrated ability to lead cultural change and improve safety maturity
* Experience working with operational leaders to drive accountability
* Confidence to challenge, influence, and coach at all levels of the organisation
