High Voltage Electrical Operations Manager

The High Voltage Electrical Operations Manager will lead technical support initiatives for start-up, commissioning, testing, and engineering operations, including major outage planning initiatives. They will manage all associated NERC/ERCOT documentation/compliance issues, switching orders, outage planning, and LOTO procedures requests.
Responsibilities include supporting high-voltage and electrical operations for utility-scale renewable energy assets in the Southern Region of Texas, leading BESS maintenance and compliance inspections, and providing technical support of all HV equipment such as grid-tied inverters, circuit breakers, SEL relays, switchgears, AC/DC circuits, and high voltage substations.
Qualifications include 4-6+ years experience with HV electrical systems (O&M, testing, field engineering, maintenance services, and/or commissioning), Management/Leadership experience, and working knowledge of high-voltage substations, relay protection, Battery storage (BESS), and transmission systems.
* Provide technical expertise for the installation, operation, and maintenance of high-voltage electrical systems.
* Develop and implement strategies for optimizing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including NERC/ERCOT.
