**What will you do?**
You will manage day-to-day aspects of your projects including, fieldwork, calculations, safety management, quality assurance of all work and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing plans from field survey data
- Computing survey data
- Work with clients to achieve production and safety targets
- Run surveys in an efficient and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of job progress
- Implement control documents for all specified tasks (e.g. JHA/JSA, SOPs)
- Maintaining professional development and training
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Provide seamless handovers for the incoming crew
**What you need to succeed**
As well as having a no problems just solutions attitude, you will need:
- Diploma or a Degree in Surveying
- Previous experience as a Surveyor
- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- 12D Software experience
- Previous experience in Construction
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Ability to set up new projects in accordance with Land Surveys procedures and to mentor/train staff
- Hardware experience with Leica or Trimble Total Stations
- Customer service skills with technical proficiency
It would be an advantage to have:
- Current First aid certificate
- experience with DJI or Phantom drones/UAVs, GPS, Scanning
