Role Description
This is a part-time (2 days per week) on-site role for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Canberra. The Accounts Payable Clerk will handle daily financial tasks, including processing invoices, managing payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. Additional responsibilities include utilising accounting software for data entry and supporting the finance team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Finance and Accounting principles
* Be highly experienced in Xero
* Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
* Detail-oriented with excellent organisational capabilities
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
* Prior experience in accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping is essential
* A certificate or diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities
In this role, you will assist in daily bookkeeping and accounting activities, general accounting, payroll, budgets and forecasts, cost management, and reporting. You will also help prepare formal written advice, including management accounts.
