We're on the hunt for a high-performing
Head of Commercial Finance
to help drive our next chapter. This is your opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role that combines strategic financial stewardship, commercial rigour, and tangible influence on care outcomes.
About The Role
Reporting to the CFO and leading a talented team, you'll be responsible for:
* Shaping financial strategy aligned with enhanced resident experience and shareholder value.
* Providing trusted commercial insight through robust reporting, data analytics, and business partnering.
* Driving performance and productivity across our care homes and villages through smart capital investment.
* Chairing our Capex Committee, guiding investment decisions that fuel our quality improvement and growth agenda.
* Championing change, leading finance transformation projects and embedding smarter systems and controls.
* Ensuring compliance, particularly under the Retirement Villages Act and wider audit obligations.
You'll work cross-functionally across operations, IT, HR, and quality to align financial management with the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a commercially astute, values-driven leader with:
* 8–12 years' experience in a complex commercial environment or Big 4 (audit/advisory).
* Proven leadership of finance teams and delivery of strategic financial reporting.
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
* Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
* Confidence in leading change and uplifting financial systems and processes.
* Clear, professional communication with executive presence.
* Experience with TechOne or sector knowledge in aged care a bonus—but not a deal-breaker.
