Duties and responsibilities:
* Cooking food items from and ensure food quality, portion control, presentation and consistency across all dishes
* Menu planing and pricing
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements.
* Manage stock levels, monitor supplies, and placing orders
* Communicating management on profit margin, estimating food labour cost, and negotiating with supply orders.
* Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to maintain quality and service efficiency.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Must have 1 year of work experience.
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Preferable)
Schedule:
* Rotating roster
* Weekend availability
