Test Engineer – Industrial Electrical Products | Adelaide
ScrumCraft is hiring a Test Engineer for a contract role working on a high-profile global electrical product range.
In this role, you'll work hands-on in a product development lab, validating electrical and mechanical performance, ensuring compliance with standards like IP66/IP67, and supporting the release of durable, safety-critical products.
What you'll do:
* Conduct mechanical, electrical, and environmental testing
* Set up and operate test equipment, fixtures, and test rigs
* Capture, analyse, and report on test data and defects
* Collaborate with design and V&V teams to ensure quality and compliance
What you bring:
* Degree or experience in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering
* Familiarity with test lab equipment and hands-on validation work
* Strong attention to detail and structured documentation skills
* Bonus: experience in compliance testing (AS/NZS, IEC)
Engagement: Contract
On-site lab-based work
