The Northern Cancer Service is looking to appoint a casual Radiation Therapist. This fixed-term position involves working as needed at our Radiation Therapy departments in Launceston and Burnie.

We provide services including Statewide Brachytherapy, External Beam Radiotherapy, Varian planning, and use Truebeam Linacs.

Primary Purpose:
Perform planning and treatment of patients using x-rays, electrons, or sealed sources as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Duties include patient care and technical administration.

Details of appointment:
This is a casual, fixed-term role, working as needed, starting as soon as possible for approximately 12 months at our Radiation Therapy departments in Launceston and Burnie.
*Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that this selection process may be used to fill similar casual vacancies over the next twelve months.
Salary: $85,011 to $127,700 per annum, Pro Rata. Includes a 12% superannuation contribution.
* Salary is in accordance with the Radiation Therapists Agreement 2022.
Salary Packaging:
Access to salary packaging benefits, including up to $9,010 in living expenses and $2,650 in meal entertainment annually, plus other benefits if eligible.
