Job Title: Payroll Administration Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented payroll administrator to provide critical support for accurate and timely payroll processing. As key back-up to the payroll coordinator, you will help maintain compliance with legislation, internal policies, and enterprise agreement conditions while delivering outstanding service to employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing, including liaison with external providers.
* Maintaining accurate payroll records, ensuring data integrity, and managing compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Responding to employee queries regarding pay, leave, deductions, and supporting payroll-related onboarding/offboarding activities.
* Supporting payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Contributing to payroll process improvements and providing general administrative support to the people team.
About You:
* Demonstrated experience in payroll administration and familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, ADP, Aurion) and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
* Understanding of enterprise agreements or awards and employment legislation.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support employees and stakeholders.
