About the role
Techmarine is seeking an experienced Marine Electrician to join our team in Coomera, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical services and maintenance for a range of marine vessels. Your expertise and hands-on approach will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' boats.
What you'll be doing
* Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of marine vessels
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions
* Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations
* Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed
* Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
* Collaborate with the broader team to deliver exceptional customer service
What we're looking for
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Marine Electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems in the marine industry
* Extensive knowledge of marine electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, navigation, and control systems
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider team
* A current driver's licence and the ability to work flexible hours as required
