**The Position**:

- You will be providing both onsite and offsite support to schools with a client base made up of Principals, Teachers, and Administration staff
- This role will involve daily travel
- You **MUST **have a **driver's license **and full-time access to a **reliable car**:

- You'll be experiencing different schools, different people, and different challenges, week to week.

**As an IT trainee, your tasks will include (but not be limited to)**:

- Onsite Support: Performed on school premises, face to face
- Creating tutorial and how-to videos
- Maintaining equipment such as computers, laptops, printers, tablets, interactive boards/TVs, projectors etc
- Ability to address and resolve arising issues in a timely manner
- Liaising with vendors/suppliers to report faults and organise repairs and replacements
- Engaging with third party vendors to resolve technical problems
- Keeping track of equipment/asset management
- Performing hardware and software upgrades
- Creating and maintaining logs of ongoing and completed tasks
- Running company related errands such as:

- Pickups
- Drop-offs
- Deliveries

**Skills And Experience Required**:

- A genuine passion for technology and helping clients
- Punctuality
- Sound troubleshooting skills
- Ability to think logically and laterally in order to work through problems to determine the cause and resolution
- A genuine "can-do" attitude
- Take pride and responsibility in their own work
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment
- Can prioritise and meet deadlines
- Organised, structured and disciplined approach in managing daily workload
- Understanding networks (wired/wireless), routers, switches etc
- Comfortable with Microsoft Operating Systems including Windows 7/8/10
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suites including Office 2010+

**Essential Requirements**:

- You **MUST **have a **driver's license **and full-time access to a **reliable** **car**:

- It is a Department of Education requirement to be fully vaccinated
- Only applicants with Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident will be considered for this position
- Please note we are only seeking applicants with fluent English communication and strong client relation skills
- It is essential that you are a clear communicator with an excellent customer service approach
- Some experience in IT will be highly regarded but not mandatory
- A "_Working With Children Check_" screening will need to be conducted. There is an $80.00 fee for a five year clearance associated with this check, but this is only required for the successful applicant.

**Remuneration**:

- Wages can be up to $738 per week (plus Super), depending on your highest year of schooling completed, and the number of years currently out of school. These figures are as per Schedule E—National Training Wage of the Miscellaneous Award 2020.
