About The Role
As the Social Worker you will work across the Early Parenting Centre (EPC) inpatient and outpatient clinical settings and will collaborate with a range of multidisciplinary health professionals. Social work clinician(s) will support families and children aged 0 – 4 years to achieve strong attachment with their caregivers by supporting parenting development. In this role, they will have a strong focus on the parent-child relationship well-being, as well as focusing on mental health. They will provide their support and expertise across all aspects of the EPC - the residential, day stay and triage services. All Social Workers / Allied health professionals employed and engaged by Barwon Health are responsible for ensuring they maintain their credentialing requirements (as per their professional association) to practice as a health practitioner during their period of employment/engagement with BH.
