Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a diesel mechanic with our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting the servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Regional Group equipment including trucks, dozers, graders compactors, rollers, excavators, and posi-tracks.
Main Responsibilities
* Conduct regular servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various equipment types, adhering to workshop rules and regulations at all times.
* Liaise daily with direct managers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operation and effective communication.
* Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, working within tight schedules while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cost efficiency.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need
* A current driver's license (HR preferred but not essential).
* Fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic certification.
* Confident in all aspects of Plant repairs, with sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions.
* Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension systems.
* Basic auto electrical knowledge and competency with computers and digital diagnostics.
* An outstanding work ethic, strong commitment to Work Health and Safety, and ability to work flexible hours.
