NORRO'S BAKEHOUSE PTY LTD Experienced Baker wanted at Norro's Bakehouse, The Entrance NSW. Full-time, $80K–$90K+super. Bake artisan breads, pastries & cakes.
Cert III in Baking + 1–2 yrs experience required. Right to work in Australia essential. Benefits Competitive salary of AUD $80,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation Full-time, stable employment in a growing community bakery Convenient Central Coast location within the Lakeside Shopping Centre Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunity to showcase your craft and creativity in an artisan setting Task & responsibilities Prepare and bake a broad range of breads, pastries, cakes and specialty baked goods following established recipes and daily production schedules Accurately measure, mix, knead and shape dough and pastry to required specifications and quality standards Operate and monitor bakery equipment including mixers, dough sheeters, provers and commercial ovens Monitor and control proving and resting processes by regulating temperature and humidity levels Bake all products to correct timing, temperature and quality benchmarks consistently Apply finishing techniques such as glazing, decorating and garnishing as required Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet retail and customer demand Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering ingredients and ensure correct storage of raw materials Inspect ingredients and finished products to ensure quality, consistency and freshness at all times Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, equipment and utensils in accordance with food safety standards Adhere to the Food Safety Program (FSP) and all applicable Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements Assist with training and mentoring junior bakery staff and contribute positively to overall team operations Qualification & experience Certificate III in Baking, Patisserie or a related field (or equivalent qualification) Minimum 1–2 years of relevant full-time baking experience in a commercial or retail bakery setting Demonstrated knowledge of baking and pastry techniques, dough preparation and oven operation Experience working in a fast-paced bakery, café or food production environment Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends and public holidays as required
