We are looking for a highly skilled and safety-focused Truck Driver to support our Civil Construction team. In this role, you will contribute to the maintenance and construction of roads, bridges, drainage infrastructure and other civil works, operating a heavy rigid truck and dog as directed by the Team Leader – Civil Construction.
This position suits a reliable team player who takes pride in delivering quality work, follows direction, and is committed to working safely while helping maintain essential infrastructure for the community.
About You
You are an experienced and capable civil operator with a strong understanding of road construction and maintenance requirements. You have worked as part of a road maintenance or construction crew and bring sound knowledge of earthmoving plant capabilities, along with the ability to plan, schedule and organise basic job elements to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
You are competent in operating a heavy rigid truck and dog and hold a current HC Class Driver's Licence (or have the ability to obtain one), along with a current C Class Driver's Licence. You also hold Traffic Control Level 1 and Traffic Management Level 2 accreditation, a Chainsaw Ticket, and relevant heavy earthmoving plant competencies.
