They audit over 110 organisations nationally and have built a reputation as genuine specialists in the not-for-profit space - think charities, disability and health services, education providers, foundations, and overseas aid organisations, alongside corporate and strata clients. This is a Senior Auditor role based at their Brisbane office, and it's the kind of position that comes along rarely - meaningful client work, a supportive team, and an employer that actually respects your time outside of work. What You'll Be Doing You'll take ownership of audit engagements from planning through to completion, working across a varied portfolio with a strong NFP weighting. Day to day, you can expect to: Lead and execute financial statement audits and reviews to Australian Auditing Standards Evaluate internal controls and provide practical recommendations for improvement Present audit findings at board meetings, sub-committee meetings and AGMs Handle grants and acquittal engagements Contribute to due diligence, limited scope, and assurance assignments Support and mentor junior team members This is a client-facing role, so your ability to build trust and communicate clearly with boards and executives will matter just as much as your technical skills. Who They're Looking For You're a CA or CPA (or near completion) with solid public practice audit experience. You've got a good handle on Australian Auditing Standards and the AASB framework, and you're comfortable running engagements with limited supervision. What will really make you stand out is a genuine interest in the not-for-profit sector. You don't need to have worked exclusively in NFP - but if you find purpose in working with organisations that are doing good in the community, you'll fit right in.
