Overview
Cabrini Technology Group currently has a vacancy for a Service Engineer to join its Melbourne team. The successful applicant will troubleshoot, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on a range of electro-medical and gas therapy equipment, define, diagnose and repair faulty electronic equipment, and minimise operational downtime through preventative maintenance while ensuring contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met.
This role is with Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of Cabrini Technology Group, a leading and fast growing independent provider of specialist technical services to the healthcare, government and enterprise sectors. Cabrini Technology Group is a wholly owned division of Cabrini Health Limited, and employs staff across Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities
* Minimise operational downtime through preventative maintenance and servicing.
* Work to ensure contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met.
* Define, diagnose and repair faulty electronic equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous hands-on experience in repair and service of medical/electronic equipment is mandatory. Experience with electro-medical and gas therapy equipment is highly regarded; training will be provided where necessary.
* Tertiary, technical or trade qualification in Electronic or Biomedical Engineering.
* Minimum 2 years' industry experience in the repair and service of electro-medical equipment.
* Strong PC and MS Office literacy; ability to enter work performed into a database in a timely manner.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; self-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement; organised and pro-active approach to work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
* A current non-restricted VIC driver's licence.
