Materials Solutions &Innovations Manager
Based at our laboratory facility in Oakleigh South, Victoria. Thisrole reports to the Southern Regional Technical Manager.
We are looking for someone with leadership, coaching anddevelopment skills to join our Materials Solutions team within the regionaltechnical group. You will work closely with and provide leadership to a groupof Materials Solutions Specialists to meet technical requirements of thebusiness and lead the regional product and associated technology innovation andR&D program. This role will also support internal and external customerswith specialist technical knowledge and provides guidance on key segments andprojects as well as having accountability for execution of strategic qualityinitiatives within region of responsibility.

Key Aspects:
1. Promote good Health and Safety behaviours and challenge non-compliance. Plan and coordinate resources to identify and control risk and hazards. Ensure good housekeeping and environmental consideration is maintained.
2. Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and development of the Materials Solutions team.
3. Manage resourcing to provide a consistently high level of technical capability and service level to external and internal customers in line with market demands and Company business plan.
4. Mentor and train team in conducting site investigations and gaining confidence of site stakeholders.
5. Maintain relationships with key consultancy groups and placement contractors.
6. Promote and provide concrete expertise within the professional environment CCAA.
7. Mentor and train team in engagement of customers on site investigations, diagnosis of quality concerns and determining path to resolution and reduction of future risk.
8. Act as key interface between TEC and region promoting collaboration to achieve best practice.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, NATA requirements, WH&S and Environmental legislation, IRMS and site requirements.
10. Assist in concrete technology training and development for internal Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain teams.
The Ideal Candidate willhave:
11. A degree or diploma in any STEM disciplines, or the equivalent industry experience.
12. Ideally 3 - 5 years technical experience.
13. Advanced knowledge with Concrete/Aggregate technology.
14. Ability to interpret project specification and drawings and provide input/challenge where required.
15. Experience within Concrete Operations, including plant processes, batching sequences, delivery processes would be well regarded.
16. Statistical analysis experience.
17. Product maintenance software (SAP, Conad, Command, Quadra, Lastrada etc) preferred.
