Territory Manager – Townsville to Whitsundays

We're on the hunt for a confident, self-starting Territory Manager who knows the Townsville region like the back of their hand. About The Role
Covering the territory from Townsville through to the Whitsundays, this is a client-facing, on-the-road role where you'll be the face of Cleanaway, meeting with customers, creating tailored solutions, and helping drive sustainable waste outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities through outreach and face-to-face engagement
* Building strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients
* Developing strategic sales plans and delivering tailored waste solutions
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth and responsive customer experience
* Keeping your pipeline healthy and up-to-date in Salesforce
* Providing accurate forecasts and reporting to help steer business growth
What We're Looking For
Someone who loves the thrill of hunting down new business, thrives on meeting new people, and enjoys being part of a supportive, collaborative team. You'll be backed by a strong network but have the independence to make your mark across your territory.
We're After Someone Who Is
* A self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do
* Confident, engaging, and quick to build trust and rapport
* Commercially savvy and motivated to grow our presence in the market
* Experienced in B2B sales, business development or account management
* A strong communicator with a natural flair for negotiation
* Organised, results-driven, and comfortable working independently and loves collaborating with the team
* Holding a current driver's licence and has access to a reliable vehicle
* Industry experience is a bonus, but not essential, we're open to fresh perspectives
