Overview

Responsibilities
Supporting the Community Education Team Leader, you will plan and deliver community education programs that:
* Assist in developing a greater understanding of what Council does in the community
* Support behavioural change to create a better future for our region
You will work within a team that collaborates with the organisation and our community on a range of projects and programs. Programs will cover the broad range of Council services, including road safety, water, waste, environment, compliance initiatives and key Council projects. You will interact closely with the community and have the opportunity to get out and about in our region, while also working across the organisation to support the delivery of Council's operational plan.
In addition, this role works closely with Transport for NSW as the Road Safety Officer for our community.
Qualifications & Expectations
To be successful you will have a passion for working with the community, or a relevant qualification and experience in planning and implementing community education projects. You must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the community and be willing to obtain a paid Working with Children Check.

Salary (exclusive of super): $87,269 – $97,681 depending on skills and experience

The Liveable Communities Team connects with the community to ensure that the Port Macquarie Hastings region is an inclusive and vibrant place for everyone.
