About the opportunity
We are currently seeking a locally based Site Engineer to join our team in Katherine on the NAVFAC Maintenance Facility project.
The Project
The project includes the construction of a maintenance facility at the Tindal airbase.
We are in a Managing Contractor agreement with the build being sub-contracted to a local business.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, and environmental standards
Review, verify and submit information to our client
Participate in client/contractor meetings as required
Provide financial assistance with cost tracking and invoicing of subcontractors on different packages of work
Report to project leadership team
Required Skills and Competencies
Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering
2-3 years experience working in civil construction
Working knowledge of relevant legislation/standards
