Your Impact
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Asahi team as a Distribution Employee at our Townsville facility. Working in distribution, you'll ensure that the finished goods are correctly unloaded, stored, issued and reconciled in accordance with Supply Chain, Customer and EHS requirements. Accuracy and efficiency in managing our production stock to seamlessly connect our customers with some of Australia's favourite beverages.
Please note: This role is a Monday-Friday, day-shift position.
Key Responsibilities
* Manual picking in line with daily KPIs
* Conduct cycle stock-takes on items when SAP figures are incorrect vs physical stock
* Carry out routine MHE review activities and report equipment faults to ensure all equipment is maintained for optimum performance
* Adhering to all safety procedures and policies
* Train & support other team members as required in process activities to ensure multi-skilling and team efficiency.
* Liaise with freight providers and delivery drivers on day-to-day basis
About You
To be successful in this position you will require experience in a manual picking role, in addition to the following:
* Experience working in a fast-paced warehousing environment
* A Forklift License would be highly regarded
* Strong written and verbal communication skills including data entry experience
* Ability to follow written work instructions, keep accurate records and have a strong attention to detail
* Ability to work in a team environment, with a high level of engagement and participation
* Ability to investigate issues and problem solve effectively
* A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement activities
* Physically fit and able to complete manual labour
