Government team requires experienced Finance professional to review and recommend Finance process improvements
Your new company
A prominent NSW Government Team is looking for an experienced qualified Finance Manager or Finance Consultant to review, map and document current financial processes and provide recommendations for improvements to efficiency and delivery of financial information. This will incorporate budgeting, reporting, infrastructure and capital projects, and BAU financial process management.
Your new role
Working closely with senior Finance leaders, this contract will involve
* Reviewing current financial processes that include many manual processes
* Mapping financial processes and documenting team roles, workflows and responsibilities
* Identifying areas that may be improved through practical process adjustments and/or future streamlining
* Recommending improvements that work with current ERP systems prior to major upgrades being implemented
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in a Finance Consulting or management role where you have reviewed and recommended finance process improvements in a large complex organisation would be ideal.
* CPA or CA qualified
* Ability to work with various stakeholders within finance and wider business to understand complex financial reporting requirements
