Due to the growth of Linked Community Services, we are currently seeking a Social Media and Content Officer who can combine strategic thinking with operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
You will play a key role and contribute to our strategic direction as we continue to grow. The Social Media and Content Officer researches, selects, creates and publishes high-value, relevant content across digital channels to build Linked Community Services' brand authority and strengthen engagement with clients, partners and the broader community. The role manages content calendars, writes transparent and accessible copy, designs simple visual assets, and analyses performance data to continually improve reach, engagement and conversions aligned to the Strategic Plan.
Communication
Strong writing and editing skills to create concise, engaging and brand-aligned content.
Platform knowledge
Good working knowledge of key social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and how content performs across each.
Content judgement
Ability to identify credible, high-quality content and present it in an engaging and accessible way.
Organisation
Proven ability to manage content calendars, timelines and approvals.
Analysis
Ability to interpret performance metrics and apply insights to improve results.
Tools
Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite) and simple design tools (e.g., Canva).
Experience
1–3 years' experience in content curation, social media and web management and/or content marketing, including adapting content for different audiences.
Preferred
Experience or knowledge of community services and/or not-for-profit environments.
Workplace Requirements
* Current National Police Check.
* Current Working with Children Check (where applicable).
