About the Opportunity As a Contract Manager at Austal Defence Australia, you will be a key link between the Commercial function and the Landing Craft Medium (LCM) project team. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will ensure the successful delivery of the LCM project by driving compliance with Tasking Statements, monitoring performance, and managing stakeholder engagement. What’s Involved Contract Governance and Compliances Contract Development and Administration Stakeholder Engagement Risk Management Performance Monitoring Governance Forums and Meetings Dispute Resolution Continuous Improvement You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Commerce, International Relations or a related discipline Experience in contract negotiation, including drafting and reviewing Familiar with ASDEFCON templates and Commonwealth procurement frameworks (desirable) Ability to interpret complex contract performance and payment regimes Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with attention to detail Prior experience working within Defence shipbuilding, aerospace, or other complex engineering programs (desirable) Why Join Us?
