Unique contract opportunity to join a listed asset management group at a pivotal moment in its growth journey, following the acquisition of a strategically significant business.
In this position you will play a central role in a high-profile, complex integration project, working at the intersection of finance, transformation, and strategy.
Reporting jointly to the CFO and Head of Integration, this role will be instrumental in aligning financial systems, policies, and processes across the combined organisation, ensuring accurate reporting, robust governance, and the realisation of identified synergies.
This is a high-impact role suited to a commercially sharp finance professional with a transformation mindset and a track record of navigating large-scale integration, M&A, or change programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead core finance workstreams across the post-acquisition integration program, ensuring seamless transition of financial operations
Develop and deliver comprehensive integration plans covering systems, controls, reporting, and compliance
Align accounting standards, financial policies, and procedures between the acquired entity and the listed parent company
Oversee the preparation of completion accounts, purchase price allocations (PPA), and fair value adjustments
Manage the consolidation of acquired financials into Group accounts in accordance with IFRS
Partner with operations, legal, and business leadership to ensure delivery of synergy targets and financial KPIs
Drive integration of financial systems (ERP migration, chart of accounts, reporting automation)
Implement strong financial governance and internal controls during the transition phase
Provide executive-level reporting on integration progress, risks, and financial performance
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on financial integration strategy and decision-making
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Qualified CA, CPA, or equivalent international designation
Minimum 7 years' experience in a finance role, with exposure to post-acquisition integration, M&A, or corporate transformation projects
Solid understanding of IFRS, financial reporting, and consolidation in a listed environment
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions
Experience in financial services, asset management, or private equity-backed businesses highly regarded
Hands-on experience with ERP and reporting systems integration is advantageous.
