Overviewrhi are looking for an Accounting Reporting & Control (ARC) Analyst to support our clients team with accounting and reporting activities.6 month contract - WFH option (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) - Immediate start availableResponsibilitiesSitting with a major global brand you will be engaged to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of accounting policy applications, internal control and financial reporting in conformance to our clients systems and requirements.Accountable for smaller entities and has a good understanding of the nature of the business and the economic environment in order to execute activities effectively.Coordinate timely and accurate recording of financial transactions (e.g. ledger entries, journal postings etc.) in line with relevant requirements, policies and procedures.Deliver group financial reporting activities for the entities assigned and support the timely and accurate delivery of financial close while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and controls.Monitor smaller volumes of open and overdue items and follow-up with the appropriate parties for clearance.Perform less complex reconciliation and reports; validate data, identify root causes of any discrepancies.Resolve normal operational issues or further escalate any complex issues to line manager or relevant business stakeholders.Partner with business stakeholders in attaining a good understanding of the general ledger and group reporting.Liaise with other FBT internal teams on cross centre activities.Liaise with stakeholders internally and externally as and when necessary.Participate in projects that are related to work scope.QualificationsAbout youRecognised / pursuing professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA).Specific experience closing accounts, P&L exposure and balancing accounts.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general and/or financial accounting.Shared service centre experience - PreferredSAP user - PreferredPower BI - PreferredEssential- Working hours will be 9am -6pm, may be required to work UK shift for a few days during quarter close- Comfortable starting a 6- month contract - This may be extended but there is no guarantee- Monthly rate is between 7500-9200 MYR is suitable for you.If you believe this opportunity is right for you, please click the ‘Apply ’button to submit your application.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
