Optimising Data Solutions

* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
* Developing comprehensive governance frameworks that safeguard information assets while enabling efficient access for authorised users.
* Orchestrating complex ETL pipelines and integrating diverse applications securely using DevSecOps principles.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in data architecture or advanced data engineering roles within organisations managing distributed information systems.
* Strong track record applying architectural design patterns for modern reporting systems as well as application integration solutions tailored to complex business environments.
* Comprehensive understanding of enterprise IT concepts including system administration fundamentals, networking protocols, and industry-standard security best practices relevant to large-scale deployments.
* Hands-on familiarity with Data Governance principles coupled with practical experience implementing frameworks such as metadata management tools or DMBOK-aligned processes (including lineage tracking).
* Experience working with iPaaS solutions alongside cloud-based platforms like Azure; exposure to Power BI analytics tools; proficiency in SSIS; deep knowledge of SQL Server; familiarity with Cognos Data Manager or Cognos BI suites; plus an understanding of common enterprise business processes spanning finance, payroll, HR, or asset management functions.

* Strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving approaches that prioritise shared success over individual achievement while fostering an inclusive work culture built on mutual respect.
* Ability to document complex architectural decisions clearly so others can easily follow established guidelines or contribute new ideas during review sessions.
* A passion for continuous learning demonstrated through active engagement with emerging trends in technology or participation in relevant training opportunities offered by employers or professional networks.
