Job Description
About the Role
Friends Health & Fitness is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Aqua Instructor to join our community-focused health and wellbeing centre. This role involves delivering safe, effective, and motivating Aqua classes while ensuring participants of all ages and fitness levels enjoy a positive and rewarding experience.
Key Focus Areas
* Deliver engaging and safe Aqua classes tailored to varying abilities and fitness levels.
* Motivate and support participants, ensuring an enjoyable and inclusive environment.
* Monitor participant safety and provide guidance on proper technique and class intensity.
* Assist in maintaining equipment and supporting the general operations of the Fitness Centre.
* Collaborate with the team to promote classes and support the overall member experience.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum Certificate III in Fitness.
* Aqua Aerobics Certification.
* Current First Aid and CPR.
* Friendly, engaging, and motivational with strong communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and connect with members of all ages.
* Positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to providing excellent member experiences.
Availability
* Mornings at 6:10am
* Evenings at 6:30pm
* Saturday mornings at 8:10am
