About the roleMeat Flour Wine is seeking an experienced Grill Chef to join their team in Berwick, VIC.
This full-time role is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic kitchen crew in a bustling restaurant environment.What you'll be doingPrepare, portion and handle all things meatBe the Meat person of Meat Flour Wine from staff training, to cooking on the grill during service and prepping all meat items.Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely and visually appealing mannerMaintain a clean and organised workstation to comply with health and safety regulationsCommunicate effectively with the kitchen team to coordinate meal preparationWhat we're looking forMinimum 4 years' experience as a Grill Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment in a grill or asado style restaurantProven track record of preparing high-quality grilled dishes to a consistently excellent standardExcellent time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a busy kitchenStrong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen teamAbility to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing prioritiesPassion for food and hospitality with a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experienceWhat we offerAt Meat Flour Wine, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
