Job Description

You independently operate and maintain at least one process or equipment or system following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

How You Will Contribute

You will operate and maintain equipment to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets. You will execute all standard work processes using AM and PM (progressive maintenance) and ensure that safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities are performed. You will take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root‐cause analysis, loss analysis, and breakdown elimination.

Qualifications

• Machine operations experience and knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tools.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality standards for operating machinery.
• Proficient reading, writing, and fluent communication in the appropriate language for the site.
• Ability to collaborate well in a diverse work environment.
• Understanding of total productive maintenance tools and methodologies is a distinct advantage.

Shift Details and Employment

The casual Confectioner position is based at the Cadbury Factory in Claremont, Hobart. Shifts have a minimum engagement period of 4 hours, typically 12 hours in duration, and may be scheduled day or night (6:30–6:30). Multiple casual positions are available. Preferred candidates may be required to undertake a pre‐employment medical assessment and demonstrate working rights in Australia.
